Rise to Fame
She appeared in every single episode of Charmed, including the unaired pilot. Not Alyssa Milano. Not Shannen Doherty. Her. That's eight seasons of showing up, which is also why she moved into the producer's chair by season five. The trajectory wasn't sudden: she'd spent four years on Picket Fences before Charmed launched in 1998, earning a SAG nomination as a small-town sheriff's daughter. The WB wasn't taking a risk on an unknown.
In the Spotlight
After Charmed wrapped in 2006, she took four years off to raise her three sons. She came back for Pretty Little Liars in 2010, playing a mom, and eventually became a recurring guest rather than a series regular. The Charmed reboot premiered in 2018 without her or any of the originals, and she made her opinions public. She co-hosts the House of Halliwell podcast now, which is what happens when the original cast has opinions and a microphone.
Side Notes
The man she married in 2004 was the key grip on Charmed. She met David Donoho on set, they had three boys despite doctors telling her she couldn't have children, and divorced in 2011. She's been married three times total. She started in commercials and print work around age 10, made her TV debut on Guiding Light, and had a decade of professional credits before Charmed made her name recognizable.
