Rise to Fame
She auditioned for a one-episode part on The Sopranos in 1999 and impressed producers enough to be kept around. As Adriana La Cerva, Christopher Moltisanti's girlfriend and eventual reluctant FBI informant, the show built her arc into one of its most deliberately paced tragedies. Season 5 put her at the center of it. She won the Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in 2004, which felt right for a character whose exit still provokes.

The Emmy bought her a decade of steady work: multiple seasons on Sons of Anarchy as Wendy Case, runs on Desperate Housewives and Shades of Blue. Going public against COVID vaccine mandates ended that streak. Her agent dropped her without a call, and her home went into foreclosure. In 2023 she joined OnlyFans. "I'd rather save my family than save face" was her line, and she stuck to it. At 51, she built a subscriber base and dared anyone to have a problem with it.

She enrolled at NYU's Tisch intending to direct, switched to acting, and got her BFA in 1996. Her ex-partner is Shooter Jennings, son of Waylon Jennings, and they named their son Waylon Albert "Blackjack" Jennings. She has said her son helped edit her OnlyFans photos, which is the kind of detail that turns a financial decision into a whole family affair. Whether that's admirable or baffling probably depends on how you feel about everything else she's done.
